I don't know that Apple would have bought Disney, but Steve Jobs WAS the largest Disney shareholder. I wonder if Steve might have considered taking Apple private and subsuming Disney too. I could see Disney parks switching to all Apple devices and D…

Well, I had Tiles for a couple years -- but they were expensive and not great. Seemed nobody was running the Tile app, so your lost stuff stayed lost. I bought a bunch of Apple's AirTags when they came out and they work better and are cheaper. Tile …

One thing that I believe SHOULD be implemented: if Apple has a service like Apple Music that DOES NOT pay the Apple tax, why should competitor Spotify have to pay the Apple tax? As things stand now, any software or service category that Apple enters…

Too bad for Tile. About the only way they can compete with Apple's AirTag is to drop their price dramatically and launch a massive ad campaign. Apple devices that can track AirTags are ubiquitous; phones running the Tiles app are not.

Given how short-lived the Nuvia company was, I'm guessing they always planned for a quick buyout and payday from any of Qualcomm, Microsoft, Samsung, or Google. Impeccable resumés and exactly the ARM chip expertise those companies want. They were sm…

It would be great if Qualcomm could approach M1 parity within 9 months. Competition helps Apple focus, Microsoft might fully embrace WOA, Qualcomm might create a profitable new business unit. Only losers in this scenario are Intel and AMD. Having …

I can confirm that Apple recently did a mass email that featured one of my apps, so Apple *IS* promoting developers' apps. My brother forwarded the email to me and asked if I'd paid Apple for it. Nope. I'm very happy about it -- free advertising. An…

Pretty sure the HDMI port is for us presenters, and only the VERY latest Epson high-end projectors for gamers support 4K and HDMI 2.1. I'll admit Apple SHOULD make the port HDMI 2.1 next update, but it won't matter to most presenters for several yea…

People that give presentations NEED an HDMI port. HDMI 2.1 doesn’t matter. What matters is that you can give your presentation even if you forget your dongle.
