Good on Apple. Why the silence here?

Put down a pretty lace doily as they used to in a bygone era before we stopped using common sense. Is AI paying by the word now?

Recently while cycling, I crashed into a car head first. It was a pretty sizable impact (cratered my helmet, bent my Enve Garmin mount). I wasn’t sure of the extent of my injuries right away. But, fortunately I was close to home, and body and bike w…

People who travel to other countries may still want the SIM tray option. eSIM from the home carrier and a country SIM in the tray. Very convenient, very efficient. Fortunately the tray hasn’t gone away in Canada yet. Until the world adopts eSIMs, …

The eSim-only thing is a deal-breaker for me as I suspect for many international travellers. I might have to buy my next phone in another country to get a SIM tray.

To me this reads like a loud NO from Apple to Teflon Musk. Not buying GS keeps them under the anti-competition radar for now. Time will tell how this goes. A lot will depend on how successful this feature turns out to be as measured by real world …

I suppose there is a case to be made for using a case to address the bump. But just in case the bump is gone, would so be the case? Such is the case of the case of the case.

Apple needs to prioritize bringing down lead times over multiplying SKUs.

Bad actors enable bad actors enable … bad actions. Nothing new here. Sadly.

Check out yr.no. It’s been my daily driver for a long time. I gives a decent wind speed forecast by the hour. If you like it, drop a shortcut on your Home Screen.

I’ve done work with with biological signals (foetal heart monitors), and these signals are noisy and hardware dependant. I understand the researchers needs and sympathize. Apple likely does not store raw data because it’s voluminous. The need to t…

And will it will be released with a $1699 auto tilting iEasel(tm), sold separately? Lol!

Mighty good idea, that. Let the fans run where we can’t hear them. Wait, or is it better for our carbon footprint awareness if we can actually hear them screaming? Hmm…

I can appreciate a $10k IWC chronometer for the exquisite craftsmanship and the fact that it will last not one but several generations. A $10k Apple Watch? I don’t think so, and Apple came to the same conclusion post Ive. Where are those $10k Apple …
