lkrupp said: So much for theory that there is a large market for small phones. Just because a few squawkers on tech blogs said there was doesn’t mean there is. Tech blogs are about as far away from reality as it gets. Agree. Fine if you only…

Hard to believe the Apple lawyers would make such silly, hysterical claims that gave the judge an easy reason to rule against. You’d think there would be peer review and that ‘dangerous’ statement would have been taken out. By that logic Apple shoul…

Copy/Paste country doing what Copy/Paste country does. As the saying goes: ‘if anyone had an original idea in China it would die of loneliness.’ All this talk of China passing the US is a joke; I don’t care if they put 50 million in AI; they just …

Congrats to everyone on the team at Apple that created this. And solid leadership to roll it out despite the pathetic attempts of some (esp that one person who started his company under dubious circumstances) to gaslight us into objecting.

It’s the proverbial Slippery Slope. Today terrorists; tomorrow kidnappers; two weeks from now it’s a guy being accused of anything by an ex-wife..... goofy1958 said: sflocal said: What they find out today may be completely irrelevant i…

Very unlikely. Many regulatory hurdles - crash test certifications, etc - must be met before the cars could be licensed for road use. Apple’s attempts to pass these would have certainly leaked by now. Not to mention test cars spotted on roads.

Ah, India. Apple throws you a bone - and you mess it up. Ridiculous laws like this will severely limit its ability to compete. No foreign company should have to babysit your companies.

You don’t understand. They DO get a piece of the action. But so too does Apple; the Banks don’t like sharing. If this comes to pass, Apple should go ‘scorched earth’ and completely deactivate Apple Pay in EU. It won’t last long because the popu…

Without knowing the details of the 4 patents and which 2 got thrown out, there’s not much to go on. Would like to see Apple use some of its resources and energy trying to affect positive change in the patent system (maybe work on Tech to assist the…

Exactly. This is one of the examples I use when mocking those hysterical ‘AI will rule us!’ know nothings. Just saw the new FB ad - ridiculous. Makes up some ridiculous % of business small businesses will lose. Also say ‘many small business own…

Zuck fighting for small businesses - now that’s amusing. I only wish Apple had done this years ago.

And they will tell Apple and others what ‘fair’ is? (/s)

Hazardous to their Wealth.

You were doing good until you included ‘Apple needs to be broken up.’ Why? Too successful? EU jealousy? Many buy Apple products because of the security. By not having the hardware, OS, and content groups under 1 leadership, working together to …

Thanks for the laugh. Funny how a side that uses wordplay to disparage anyone who doesn’t agree with them on every topic, gets really thin skinned when the tables are turned. Back to the article - this has little (almost nothing) to do with A…

Even in white collar; know many working at app/programming companies where owners either start missing payments (or making arbitrary reductions) or just shut down. India, a lot of potential - but as long as Corruption is commonplace, will be li…

Did you just snap out of a coma? Since March we in Tech have proved Work From Home works fine. I was not surprised - been running tech teams in 7 world time zones for many years. The US will always lead; we’re the risk takers, the problem sol…

Ditto - embarrassed to tell people I still live here. But not optimistic the msg will get through to the pols - their egos are too big and they’ll be too busy gaslighting (‘Larry Ellison is a ’) to consider their policies are the reason. sfloca…
