If you look through the code it suggest that Vacuum cleaners are in 17.4 (RVC = Remote Vacuum Cleaner) So it looks like 17.4 got Matter V1.2 However, was that added into HomeKit?

Re Security systems. I think one of the issues has been that every security system has its own sensors. With Matter, I see the possibility of a company putting in its own hub (Which could be Matter enabled) that connects to Matter sensors. This way,…

Andrew, you did a great job of trying to pull your guests into conversations. It seemed like really hard work. They really didn't get your question about Level, Thread and why wait for Matter when they could deliver with HomeKit.

Hmm, it's just HomeKit making suggestions, just more suggestions. I actually have presence detection in my home right now (Not motion detection) and it is truly great that lights follow you as you go through the house. Also things like if the last …

I have tv+ 4K 2nd gen, going to a Denon Receiver then to a Hue Sync then to a 2016 LG 4K OLED 3D. Everything does Dolby Vision, and everything works just fine. Only time the sync doesn't work is when playing 3D (Known issue).

You were wrong about Fluid One. You don't need a tag for every device. You have one, or a couple in a room. It then knows where the device is based on distance and angle from tag.

I wouldn't suggest/recommend Rachio. They have some serious HK issues that have been going on for over 2 years now, and they have not been able to resolve. https://community.rachio.com/t/rachio-3-not-responding-in-homekit-again/17689/1602

I thought it hilarious that a UK passport was used. Admittedly an old EU one, but still..... Has no-one heard of Brexit? P.S. Not a fan of Brexit myself.

There is a category called Receiver. To get a Denon in there, you need to use Homebridge.

bmwtwisty said: The Jag is probably still using Lucas electrics I wrote the blog post. I'm sure you think it's hilarious about Lucas. And it was in the 1960's to 1980's. However, I can tell you I owned a 1967 E-Type in my past. The…

Is the time thing about going over midnight? It doesn't always work. I.e. 6pm to 6am doesn't work reliably. Best to split into 2 automations. e.g. 6pm to Midnight Midnight to 6am

Re Fibaro. The Accelerometer is how it nows if it is tampered with.

You don't have to use Windows for Roomba info, like BLID. In the GitHub page for homebridge Roomba2, you can see how to do it in whatever OS. https://github.com/homebridge-plugins/homebridge-roomba2#readme
