I'd tell you that it is not worth upgrading. The video captures at only 320x240 15fps. The internal scsi is only 10MBps, and the RAM only runs at 50MHz. Finally, it does not have AGP, so the video won't be all that great. The 8500 is around 8 years …

No it won't work. Mac floppies got their power through the ribbon cable, while PCs have a 4 pin mini Molex connector for power.

Futurmark is not a very good benchmark. And, the update also lowers ATI's scores as well. I don't think it's cheating to tune the drivers for maximum performance.
