What I would like to see is Safari Web Tracking Eraser… Just leave the ad… but erase all tracking code from the page! Like in all ‘paper’ newspapers… I see the ad… but it does not steal my info!

Thanks! Excellent ‘demo’ article! A great demonstration of a marvelous work by Apple. I just want to see what they would be able to do with Chinese or Arab languages!

Good analysis… William! I think you forgot one point: The 1987's video spoke of ‘forest raind‘… and in 2024 we are dealing with a huge climate change problem! On the other side… to find the music of the video… maybe you must try Classical Music!

quote: “"[It would] restrict citizens' access to free…” They forgot to tell us that… they will be sell our private user data to advertisers! If we remember the paper newspapers… they had lots of ads —the most selling newspaper in Argentina had more…

Wonderfull work! Congrats! My two cents… worthless as usual. 1— It would be great if someone builds Lego version of the most iconic and remodeled old buildings' stores! 2— Of course, making this a Lego product will also give some money to the des…

Long… long ago… maybe too long to most readers… Adobe developed Multiple Master fonts. Those could change the width, stroke, etcetera… but also the could change form Serif to Sans-Serif and more. That did not work too good at its time. But now it se…

First of all… let us remember that the ‘i’ was not always mean ‘internet’! Steve Jobs was… iCEO… interim CEO. Although the ‘i’ run wild… I think I should remain in the iPhone and other places. The original ‘iMac’ was the ‘internet’ Mac… so it shoul…

Great article, William! Some points that I think you forget to include. 1— Around CompuUSA's stores-in-stores they also tried Cafe Mac… where you could connect to the internet. 2— Ron Johnson told a story about he and Steve checking a mockup of the …

If you have a four-voices chorus song… would it be able to separate each voice? (It can separate voice, music, and rithm… but different voices?)

My two cents… worthless as usual. 1— It seems to me that Apple ’reduced’ its commission by the amount it costs Apple to make the payment transaction… obviously less that for other companies in view of its size. If the individual payment systems cha…

This could be… standard Apple's procedure! When Apple started the iPhone… chips were from Samsung… then their own. When Apple started Siri… the speech recognition system was from an external company… now it is its own. When iPhone launched… Maps we…

Steve Jobs' vision was… ‘a computer that is a slate of glass’ —check AllDigital interview—. That's right the actual iPad Pro. You are right. But someone then add… a pencil, a (physical) keyboard, and even… function keys! (All those things hated by …

quote: “According to Hypebeast, this is the only time this pair of sneakers will be seen. They will not be sold publicly.” Maybe… in the future… Tim could give them for an auction for a charity… Or tell his nephew to keep them for 20 years and the …

‘Analysts, analysts, analysts…’ (say that in Steve Balmer's monkey jumping style!) To those of us that were paying attention in the old days of the ‘speed wars’… Intel allways spoke of ‘CPU speeds’ without paying attention to ‘user experience’… due…

During long years… the Macintosh was unable to hit a strike in business. It was a ‘toy computer.’ Then it came the iPhone… and a big demand of using it in the enterprise —pushed by CEOS— opened not only the door for cellphones… sorry Blackberry… but…

It is crazy! Foxconn shut down the factory… but open others in India and other Easter countries. Foxconn is still making money from Apple. But in the title appears only ’Apple’… As usual: “Blaming Apple brings page views… aka ad revenues-”

Maybe… it is just the ‘Osborne 1 effect.’ When the company launched the Osborne 1 —maybe, the first transportable computer—… immediately announced the Osborne 2:… much better… So people did not buy the Osborne 1! So… who will buy an iPhone now wit…

Some other comments… from the more rational side of my brain. First, I bought my first Macintosh 512k in October 1985. Living in Argentina —and without the existence internet— the majority of my knowledge comes from MacUser and MacWorld magazines, …

My personal… BEST WWDC… was WWDC01 when I was there in San Jose seeing Steve Jobs launching Macintosh OS X… Did it mean ‘Ten’ or ‘(Uni)X.’ Together with the iMacs previously… and the september launch of iPod… 2001: Apple Odyssey… the year it all st…
