I guess it has been said before, but this thought bears repeating anyway. Just because Apple doesn't "support" you anymore doesn't somehow "brick" your computer. If it's working fine with your current library of apps, it will continue to do so until…

I have a Cruise scheduled for late October that commences in Korea and then 12 days around Japan ending in Tokyo. I know some pleasantries and greeting in Japanese and really look forward to using this. Hope it is released by then, especially the li…

Just ordered one to replace my perfectly usable 2019 Intel i9 21.5 iMac. I like the Yellow, so that pushed me "up" a bit into the 500SSD with two more "C" ports, ethernet (I back up to my NAS via ethernet...) , ID keyboard, but still with 8GB. Upgr…

I am an older retired guy that has been an Apple Fanboy for DECADES. I just ordered a new iMac because I appreciate the quality their AIO represents. I just enjoy putzing with email and the Internet with a computer and the iMac is perfect for me. I …

Like most of us, I guess, I too conflated the "USB 2.0" speed furor as Apple cheaping out. When I read up on TB Cables, versus simple plain USB-C cables, I had my eyes opened. What Apple is PROBABLY going to include is a CHARGING cable. Like someone…

I still have the original iPhone 16GB that I use as my "House Phone" keeping that phone number active with all calls forwarded to my iPhone 13Mini. I still have the original box and all that came with it as well. Offers ?

My goodness. Standardization is not evil. I have to think long and hard about replacing an electric drill because all the battery packs are proprietary. What nonsense. A common charging standard, just like a common data transmission standard seems a…

Get a NAS drive for your backups like a Synology 1 or 2 drive system. I have a 2 drive system for a mirrored backup (DS218+) and could not be happier with it. It does A LOT of stuff.

Amazon has nifty little Lightning to USB-C adapters that take up almost no room, Just a "cap" that covers the Lightning tab.

I am one of the guys that simply does not NEED the new Studio, but I wouldn't mind having one. I have a decent , souped up, 2019 21" iMac that does all I need. But... that price differential between a loaded M1 iMac and the Base Studio is not that s…

I, too, would like to give a "pat on the back" to DECO. First rate performance, including the ability to "Blacklist" piggybackers, and set the operating lights on a schedule so they don't light up the bedroom at night. Spendid performance all around…

I still can’t find any realistic rationale, even 5G, for replacing my iPhone X/256, especially since I replaced the battery. I use the camera for generic snapshots, like most everyone else. Give me a reason, please !

I ordered mine fairly soon after the announcement. I just received email that mine, as well as trade-in kit, is on the way.

I wonder how many people (not me, BTW...) are holding off because they still have some lingering doubt about CSAM ?
