remember, it only has 1 firewire port, so if you buy a firewire hdd, you'll need a hub to connect both the camera and hdd. not sure if this will hurt capturing performance...

I believe you would have to replace the entire mother board to upgrade that machine (other than ram and HDD, of course). I guess you could try eBay and see if a MB of that gerneration of iMac with a faster processor is on sale, but thats not too …

I don't think you can do this with DVD player. Try using VLC. Its harder to use, but i know that it can stretch video. why do you need to stretch it to full screen? I for one can't stand it when video is stretched from its intended aspect ratio.

It looks pretty good. It seems like they couldn't get all of the songs from the US store, however. This is a bit dissapointing, but only a minor setback. hopefully Apple will continue to get more labels and artists on board. my completely unscien…

If you really want something portable, but cold use the power of a G5 at home, you could consider a referbished (or currently low end) iBook and the DP 1.8 ghz tower. The total price would be about the same as buying the DP2.5ghz tower. You will sti…

PC2700 is what you need. Its easy to install too. Don't waste money having someone else do it for you.

Hook up the external display, keyboard and mouse then close the lid. Now wake up the computer from using the KB/mouse and your will be driving the external display at the full resolution. I don't believe apple suggests doing this for long periods…
