FWIW, TWC doesn't have data caps for their internet. Comcast may be adding it, AT&T already has it but TWC specifically does NOT have a data cap on home internet. If they keep it that way and offer TV over-IP they are going to hit a big market…

Subler had some hiccups back in the 0.6x days but now it's at 1.04 I think and it's been fantastic. I add subtitles all the time and adding every lick of data from any of three sources (TVDB, iTunes, or movie database). I usually go to addic7ed for…

Am I the only person that uses Subler?? It's fan freakin tastic! Combine Handbrake with Subler and it does way more than Plex, even going into the metadata that isn't easily modified. All my ripped stuff looks exactly like the stuff I bought from iT…

Sorry, my phone didn't correct some of the words I thought it did. Simply put - the stuff that people like about the ACA (no ban on pre-existing conditions for example) could have been achieved with a single piece of legislation that wouldn't have r…

Guh this is just painful to read. Everyone keeps saying oh but the ACA got rid of pre-existing conditions. I'm, yeah but guess what else would have? A simple bill that didn't overh the whole thing and make it demonstrably more expensive than it alre…

I'm also confused why everyone keeps throwing around the word "monopoly." There is no monopoly right now nor will their every be irrespective of what the FCC does with net neutrality. You have the telephone company and the cable company - at the b…

Clearly the raw data and the actual don't line up because AT&T has a stipulation on their 1Gbps internet service that if you're watching more than 2 HD streams at once then your internet speeds will start to slow so it's already happening since …

So, wait, "let the free markets decide"??? If you support "net neutrality" you're categorically opposed to letting "the free markets decide." What people don't seem to get is that Charter already tried to throttle Netflix once and the FCC use EXIS…

Siri hasn't seen a decent update in years. I mean it can't even perform the simplest of tasks. If you say "what time does American airlines flight #___ arrive at DFW" and she comes back with "I didn't find any search results for "what time..." That'…

Frankly I'm surprised that given all the leading edge materials the apple uses they didn't incorporate some advanced composite and/or fiber reinforced aluminum options. They've been out there for quite a while and provide pretty impressive results a…

So what metric would you like to use their Skil? Or would just like to pretend that your POV trumps all the others and if you don't agree then any argument to the contrary is crap? Or are you of the persuasion that there's no point in gauging the ma…

It's the only metric that's available - not the best I'll agree but is there any other way to gauge how happy people are with the freebies? Should we go look at the reviews for all the free stuff? That's probably even more damming than the % of po…

I guess you're incapable of reading the rest of the thread where a lot of people are complaining about the quality of the freebies then? Ok, noted... Also, just go over to MR and you'll see tons and tons of people saying "WTF??" about the gifts. …

I don't think you quite understand the meaning of entitlement. If Apple hadn't made an app about giving away free stuff but everyone was going around clamoring that they "deserve" free music, apps and movies that's entitlement. Apple advertisin…

If they can add live sports (NFL and College Football) along with apps for ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CW and a couple other I would be to the point where I would just split the cost of a cable subscription with a friend. They can have the hardware and all …
