  • I use SprintPCS here in Texas and it is great. It even great in Oregon, Tennessee, wherever I go! I have one of the first phones with ELED's. Don't know why more phones don't use that! It's a motorola timeport with an awesome screen!

  • [quote]Originally posted by Lew: Anyone have a digital camera that they really like? I'm looking to get something pretty basic that works well with the mac (i.e., transfers pics easily) and is relatively easy to use. Don't need too many bells and…
  • Here is a little more info: It was a clear, normal conditions day. The right side of the front of the truck was damaged. Think about that. (Heh heh heh. It's funny how you all say my girlfriend was in the tan car. ) (So obviously the cops ga…
  • Or wait- does anyone remember this show... Parker Lewis Can't Lose??? Is that it? It was incredibly funny I thought. Then it just ended. It was like a Ferris Beuller or Weird Science kind of show. Great stuff!!!
  • Hmm... I was born in 1980 and we had so many classic cartoons in that time until the early 90s. I like the concept of ESPN Classic for sports, but I would like to see a Cartoon Classic by the Cartoon Network. They play too many new cartoons for m…

  • I have used it. And, no, the last edition of it used IE 5. I knew this because you could drag the text around just like in IE. Now you can't. It is fast, though. It could always be faster, but I can't complain even on my Wallstreet 233. If you HAVE …
  • Maybe I expected too much from this thread, but it has turned south in a hurry. Jaguar does look better than any OS I've ever seen. Is it bad when I just want to sit there and play with it instead of spending time with my girlfriend?
  • I want to know how big each folder is by having it listed on each window that it is opened. Also I want to know how many Mbs I have thrown away in the trash. I also want a 4 dimension "Hypercube" for a finder. It would be the ultimate multi-fi…
  • Don't use pirated software, and then it should work for you.
  • They have stated that G3s will receive quite a bit of speed from 10.2. I already use it on my PB G3 233 with 288 mb of RAM, and it is almost up to speed with 9, because of the RAM. Some things its pretty slow with, but trust me. Use it!!!! 10.2 will…
  • [quote]Originally posted by Composer: I've got an older iMac (266mhz) with 256MB of RAM. Does anyone curently have 10.1 running on one of these, and if so do they like it. Secondly, would 10.2 yield any performance gains on older iMacs? Thanks…
  • Alright! I'll go home tonight and try it. I'm excited. I'll let yall know if my modem/digital camera for serial and cd writer for scsi work. Thanks! Zach Not Lemon Bon Bon
  • But this is the first OS X upgrade to include this. ATI Rage LT cards were NEVER supported by any OS X except now. It's awesome! It should help the older cards performance big time. I was getting tired of having to switch into OS 9 to use my video c…
  • I think you all miss something here. Almost all of you have friends that are teachers, kids that go to school, college friends, etc. Well, they can get OS X.2 for 69 dollars. So if you do that for both X.2 and X.3 then you would have spent about the…
  • [quote]Originally posted by Whisper: You're misunderstanding the word "supported". If a video card isn't supported, then no video comes out of it. But it was never supported before this. There is no Apple documentation saying that it was, bu…
  • No! Quartz Extreme is only supported by those listed video cards, but quartz extreme isn't all OS X. The OS X-compatible Macs such as the first iMacs and older PB G3s never had graphics card support until now. Of course it doesn't have Quartz Extrem…
