I realised the other day the pill + hole design is actually an echo of the speaker + proximity sensor design on the iPhone 5!

I can't really see the appeal of the SE3 unless you are really counting the pennies. The 12 Mini is only an extra $170 and you get so much more. Also, if you can wait until September, the 13 Mini will surely be discounted to the price of the 12 Mini.

Of course there is always the possibility (likelihood even) that Apple will continue selling the 13 mini after September and for $100 less than now, so if you’re not in a hurry…

No, i don’t believe it. It will be a pill. This just looks ridiculous.

“It's likely that the device would feature 48MP images for brightly lit subjects” No it wouldn’t. This talk of 48mp cameras is a bit silly. Even in optimum conditions the resultant picture isn’t likely to be 48mp, it will still be 12mp because of 4:…

I'm using a MacBook in clamshell mode pluggged in 24/7 with the free AlDente app to limit charging to 60%. Works great.

Please please do something about the auto-play videos. They are so irritating, especially on iOS where they turn into a footer that you can’t close because the button is tiny and / or unresponsive. At a bare minimum please can we have the option to …

Has anyone attempted to discover whether this affects Box in Somerset?

Well it sucks for him but unfortunately being lax with his phone security has cost him. I’m a parent too and my autistic son has a photographic memory so I have to be super careful with passcodes. I have one for my phone, one for his screentime (ch…

Heh, good work. Would a very strong magnet damage an iPhone I wonder? When we used to take canal holidays (in the UK) we had a super strong 140lb ‘sea searcher’ magnet to fish out any ferrous items that got knocked overboard.

Oh give over Ionicle. Point if fact: if you are British, you are European. Look it up in an atlas some time. That apart, I agree with your first paragraph.

Super interesting article [nerd emoji] If the MagSafe puck and the AC adapter can't negotiate the 9V and 2.22 amps, USB Power Delivery will default to the highest common mutually compatible voltage and amperage that it can, not to exceed that 9V or …

FWIW the article mentions Sky, Virgin and Tesco but these are all MVNOs anyway. The big 4 are O2 (which used to be owned by BT but is now owned by Telefonica of Spain), Vodafone, EE (now owned by BT but formerly the merged entities of C&W’s one2…
