Sadly, CES looks more and more like proof we have run out of original ideas. The electronics revolution has slowed to a crawl waiting for those forever nuclear batteries they promised us in the 1950s. And ultimately, electronics are a poor substitut…

Shazam, purely for identifying and buying music, is one of the few apps I have found useful from its inception to today. I expect Apple will change all that. Too bad.

Somebody has to say it, VR may have some specialized uses, but in the main stream it is little more than a way for pot heads to check out. I wonder what the physical and mental fallout will be from all this. Right now, there are almost no young peop…

It did not help when Pandora came out in support of the BLM terrorists. Dropped them like a hot potato the day I read that. Probably only a drop in the bucket, but why a struggling corporation would go out and intentionally alienate half their prosp…

Still using my 802.n Expresses to receive music all over the house from Airfoil. Such a joy to be off the "always more to spend" bandwagon. Some folks get rich by not spending money. AirPlay has always kinda sucked anyway.

That screen ratio rumor has to be bunk, the phones are too long now. But then, my 6s is doing fine, and will continue to do so for years to come. My wallet is loving the fact I have abandoned annual refreshes of computer equipment.

There is no way this is real. Having to physically pick up the phone to unlock it is the worst possible thing, like powering up the OS and then turning on the screen with with two different buttons. Cannot happen.

Thinner bezel. Great. More random unintended screen clicks, and constant readjusting to see the part hidden in your clothes. Thanks Apple, way to ignore reality as per usual.

Ahh, the Applepay conundrum. Plenty of banks support the product, but so few retailers as to make it almost useless. I like Applepay, but where I live in CA there are only a few retailers who support it. Albertson's just dropped it, although they cl…

And what do you wanna bet, after waiting all these years for a solution, the new monitor will not be compatible with the trash can. As a 30 year customer, my loyalty to Apple fades every time I go looking for a monitor, and realize Apple doesn't giv…

VR has the same inherent issue as stereo photography, it's a one person at a a time experience. This makes it not a group social thing, but more of a mommy's basement loner product. Have a look at the ads currently running. One person is wearing …

As an experienced Apple early adopter, when they finally enable last decade's USB speed, I have no doubt they will either not support it on the first iPad Pro, or it will require an $80 adapter which is long and clumsy and likely to break off...like…
