You lot are in denial. Samsung, and android, took apple out to the woodshed. Anyone want to bet me where the trend will be after another year? I didn't think so. Article and fanbois whine about a few decimal points.

I'm also sticking with the best. Samsung android phone with much larger screen. Apple will get there. Several years late. Or maybe ship iPhone with a magnifying glass. PS Google is no Microsoft. Android is no Windows.

Next, apple will invent the first ever 4.5" screen...

I checked with Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and we are still deeply in the denial phase.

I checked with Karl Rove and this is still not over!

Currently Apple de-activates TRIM on third party SSDs. Hopefully someone will write a hack to correct this annoying Apple stunt. 3 monitors are possible. If I'm correct the AMD chip (only) can drive TWO daisy-chained Thunderbolt monitors. (not su…

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused above. It looks like what will happen is the new TB monitor will have a TB cable coming off it (hey, save $50). And then one TB "out" port to daisy chain onward. And, you can only drive 2 TB monitors off a m…

The article states "Thunderbolt-based Macs with discrete graphics can drive two external displays giving professional users over 7 million additional pixels of display real estate and the ability to daisy chain additional Thunderbolt devices, as wel…

Glad to see the CPU muscle, but Apple's not doing anything more for me on supporting multiple displays. There's always the mac pro but that did not get the expected refresh today. I guess if you want hella monitors you have to get the 27" iMac which…

This is not such a deep mystery people. For those of you paying attention, the recent 3.0 iPhone firmware announced (about time) support for the A2DP Bluetooth profile. (for iPhone 3G, not for iPhone classic). A2DP is high fidelity stereo. (its stil…

Apple continues to amaze. First, they invent the graphical user interface, which xerox PARC later copied from them. Then Apple invents unix, which freeBSD later copied from them. Now, in 2009, they have not only invented cut and paste, they follow u…

OK these numbers are from Q4 2008. I'd love to find a month by month graph. http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=910112 Symbian 47.1% BlackBerry 19.5% Windows Mobile 12.4% iPhone 10.7% Linux 8.4% Palm 0.9% Android (less than 1%. 1mm G1s…

2009 will be interesting. We'll see the Google Andoid G2 any week now. And 10 other gPhones before the year is out. And Apple will ship its third generation iPhone. Needless to say, the diversity of those 10 gPhones phones will offer some features A…
