What you should do is buy it. I'm quite sure that Microsoft is not giving away their flagship productivity app. If someone is advertising it for free, you can be sure it's unauthorized.

You might be correct. Time will tell. Compared to a few other Mac forums, the traffic here on Mac subjects is very light, especially when you remove the numerous threads generated by the host from consideration.
