Seems to only happen when I have used the Mac for an hour or more.

I was interested in following artists but there are very few right now. The first one I followed was labelled as "the Beatles". Within a day the name had changed to show it was really some French guy called Victor who just gave "The Beatles" as his …

Whenever you install new software and have to re boot everything seems to go faster and so it is with Safari 5. However, having used it for 30 mins and deliberately opened lots of other software its still going very fast, particularly with tabs.

I have an Apple TV, with the latest software and it is very good. As well as buying/renting TV, Movies and Music from ITunes you can :- - play music , see photos etc etc from your own network - access any photo account at Flickr - listen to ma…

Surprise surprise. Have now gone a week with zero problems using Snow Leopard. Things I changed this time were shutting off spaces, expose, and most Dashboard widgets. However, maybe more relevant was to use a freeware fan control system extension, …

Background ---------- I have a four year old IMac with 2 GB of ram. Snow Leopard is still very unstable. Each of the fix releases ( i am using the latest) has reduced the problems but some nasties still persist. Worst for me (and there are…

Apple's quality is typically very high. However, Snow Leopard has more problems than previous Mac releases and was probably put on the market a bit too early. I also do think it is partly Apple's problem if they bring out a release unexpectedly …

of course the thing I didn't notice at first was that its printing red when it should be printing green but could be worse.

Thx. I downloaded that print driver from Canon you pointed me to vs the one at the Apple support site and its printing. Will try scanning but am not optimistic if you cant get it to work. Thx again.

Re-installedSnow Leopard with printer connected. Still no good. Says I need software. I have definitely loaded all the right software it just doesn't work with Snow Leopard. Anyone else had any luck ??

Well it looked like backup was ok, but now its saying not enough room. As I have only used around 40gb of disk its hard to believe it cannot fit in the 100+Gb free on the backup. Clearly still a LaCie problems

The other problems seem to be related to Iphoto tho it also crashed once when switching users.
