I would consider one but only because I can't afford, nor do I need, a laptop right now. I know Apple says it's not a "computer" but it does many computer tasks. The problem is I don't really need the iPod features, since I only use my current iPod…

It be nice for Apple to offer wifi etc. with the next iPod but they'll want to protect the iPhone sales. And it won't have Skype. That would just piss off Cingular. They don't want people making "free" internet voice calls. They want you to use the …

Either Apple is sure they can this suit or they are totally crazy. Cisco won't lay down and die but they might not be playing fair either. They say they were willing to share the name with Apple but something clearly went wrong. Hopefully this won't…

I agree with Carniphage. I have a new 20" iMac Core 2 Duo 2.33 Ghz and 2 GB RAM and it works great with iMovie and iDVD. But before this I had a 1st generation flat panel iMac that was 8oo Mhz so the new one is a major step up. If you need it now I'…

I can't help you other than to say I've had the same problem. I have no internet and nothing I've done or read has helped much. I've just given up. Quote: Originally Posted by iGrant Hello, I just got my MacBook today, and I installed Paralle…

I think the new lawsuit is hurting the stock and the microsoft/MTV music service doesn't help either. The market is more interested in iPods and iTunes and anything that might tarnish that makes them nervous.

I thought everybody would enjoy reading this article about the ads. I still think they have some merit. I guess we need to see how it effects sales. TV ads

Apple's main strength is that their applications i.e. iLife work seamlessly together and don't get in your way. The truth is PCs have the same kind of iSoftware Apple does but they tend to be more awkward and less refined. But how do you show that i…

I use Apple's because they were the first computers I ever really used. I was in college in 1995 and my school used Apple's. I bought one to use when I went home from school and I've not looked back since. I'm on my third Mac and plan on getting a n…

Compared to other Intel chips how good are these new ones? I know it's a mobile chip so do you lose anything compared to the desktop chips? Thanks.

There is and I think it's called "Checkbook" or something close to that. I used it for a time and it worked OK. Check on Version Tracker or Apple's OS X software section. At times my balances seemed to be wrong, but I think that was me and not the p…

There is an article on Cnet about Sony's desire and the other Hollywood studios too to have a ITMS like video download application and/or site. What I found most interesting was the following quote. "Sony's plans--and similar moves by other stud…
