Too bad. I started out on PS Vue, but eventually switched to YouTube TV. I think Sony's service was strong, but their interface was clunky and they kept jacking their prices. in the end, there just wasn't enough differentiation from the alternatives.

It never ceases to amaze me how well-paid people will cheat to put a few extra dollars in their pocket. Of course, I don't know his financial situation but is it really worth risking your career or worse for a relatively small gain? I just don't get…

Thanks Apple for fixing this annoying ‘feature’ of MacOS Catalina!

’Will Apple have to brainwash the masses to buy it?’ No amount of Apple ‘brainwashing’ will get the ‘masses’ to buy the new Mac Pro. That’s because a) this machine is not intended for consumers and b) Apple’s target market is high end video and aud…

The new Mac Pro will largely appeal to Audio and Video professionals who's company foots the bill. A) it's not a Consumer machine and it's under-featured and overpriced compared to PC Workstations from Dell, HP, and Lenovo...

Who cares that he used to work for a pharmaceutical company? Since when is this a crime? Sounds like Apple wanted a competent, experienced IT executive to fill out their management. He will be reporting to Mary Demby, the current Apple CIO (Corp IT)…

'nothing remains of this once promising company'. Yeah except NeXTStep evolved into MacOS. Apple was also my first job out of college and I absolutely LOVED working there except fo the last 6 months. NeXT did find some success in Financial Services,…

Some people think it’s all or nothing. Either all user data is stored on Apple-owned servers, in Apple-owned data centers or it’s all at CSP’s. That’s not how it works in the real world. Companies commonly employ a ‘hybrid’ strategy to deliver servi…

The most frivolous lawsuit ever! Apple has no obligation to inform subscribers that they utilize 3rd party Cloud Service Providers. Furthermore, given how these applications are architected it’s impossible to determine whether or not a user’s data p…

The roots of Claris go all the way back to the Macintosh introduction in 1984. Microsoft basically threatened to stop all Microsoft development, on the Mac, unless Apple canned their own 1st party apps (MacWrite, MacDraw, etc.) Apple setup Claris as…

Not sure if this is a good move or not. Time will tell. I do think it makes sense for Apple not to be 100% reliant on Qualcomm for it's future 5G modems. In typical Apple fashion, they will want to optimize the hardware and software stacks for any u…

I believe Apple’s R&D expenditures are better spent inventing cool, new stuff instead of doing another ‘heart transplant’ on Macintosh...

Every few months one of these types of editorials appears on AI. I call the same BS every time. Apple doesn’t need to use ARM in Mac. It’s not gonna shift their marketshare in any direction. Instead they are focused on making iPad more ‘Mac-like’. W…

Apple is NOT abandoning x86 architecture for Mac! More likely you will see iPad get faster with more Mac-like features. The the upcoming versions, of iPadOS and MacOS are very similar and are only likely to become more so over time. That's why Apple…

I'm sure that most people buying the new MacPro will be doing so with OPM (Other People's Money). I won't rehash my issues with the product, but will say that this certainly is NOT the Mac for the rest of us ;-)

This is truly unfortunate. My girlfriend and I have been attending the Celebrity Forum for the past couple years and were sad to hear they will be on hiatus due to the Flint Center. This is the first I heard that the Flint Center is permanently clos…

I sell professional workstations (amongst other products) for a living and am also an Apple 'fanboi' so here are some observations of the new Mac Pro: - Limited to a single CPU. While this might not seem like a big deal, comparable PC workstations …
