A couple of months ago I had an issue with my 15" Flat Panel iMac for which AppleCare sent a tech to my home. He opened the bottom of the iMac and asked if I happened to have a can of compressed air. I just so happened to have a can, so I gave it …

No, your not the only one. I have two Logitech MX700's, two Microsoft Intelemouse Explorers, a Kensington wireless Studio mouse and a MacAlley mouse, not to mention three Apple Pro Mice but the one I like the best by far is the Apple Bluetooth Mous…

So my 17" Powerbook is 2 days old, I just finished doing a clean install of Panther and loaded all of my software. I can't believe how beautiful it is, I was going to get the 15" as I thought maybe the 17" would be too big, but you know what, it …

Well for the 15 minutes my new 17" Powerbook has been up I love it too! I just have to get used to the deep keyboard. By the way, do you put anything over the keyboard to protect the screen when you close the cover? Or is it not necessary?

I just called Apple to find out why my Panther upgrade has not shipped. I was read some BS line that the demand for Panther is overwhelming and that my upgrade won't ship until the 29th! I actually ordered the Panther upgrade the first day it wa…

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, Leo Laporte of TechTV actually showed his 12" Powerbook with the corner dent on the air. He mentioned the he dropped the Powerbook but it was inside a padded case when he dropped it. He didn't think anythin…

Leo Laporte from TechTV showed his 12" Powerbook on The Screen Savers with a nice dent in one of the corners. He said he dropped in inside a padded bag and it still made the dent, so yes it certainly does seem that the AL Powerbooks are easily de…

Oh man, you can get a refurbished dual 1.42ghz Powermac G4 direct from Apple. It's about $70 more than the dual 1.25ghz with superdrive (non refurb) on the Apple Store site. I've read very positive feedback from dual 1.42ghz owners. http://store.…

Relax and enjoy your 1.8ghz G5. There will always be faster computers and you don't want to get caught up in chasing the latest & greatest. The 1.8 is I'm sure super fast & if you plan on getting Panther it will be that much faster!

Did you do the firmware update that came on the bluetooth moouse/keyboard software disk? If you did not make sure you install it and it should take care of your not being able to wake from sleep problem. It did for me. Oh and if you do the 10.2…

Yes it does.

I was watching The Screen Savers on TechTV last week, Leo Laporte showed his new 12" Powerbook with a nice dent in one of the corners. He said the Powerbook was in a laptop bag and he accidentally dropped it, the dent happened even though it was …

Hey Heagan, you can't get the internal bluetooth module unless you bto it (its on the mother board) but to put your mind at ease I had forgotten to include the bluetooth module when I ordered my G5. I got the d-link DBT-120 bluetooth dongle and th…

I want to get it, I have just one question though, can you wake the G5 from sleep with it? Reason I ask is that I have the bluetooth keyboard and it won't wake the Powermac from sleep like the wired keyboard does. Now I'm wondering if the wireles…

I had ordered a G5 without the bluetooth module. When I realized I wanted it I called Apple to see if I could add it to my order. I was told that my machine had almost finished assembly, but if I wanted they would cancel it and start from scratc…

The Kensington wireless Studio Mouse sucks, it's been sitting in my drawer for the past 3 months. It feels very cheap, unlike the Logitech MX700 which feels and operates great.
