There's been quite a bit of talk about Siri powering the Apple HDTV. I don't think this is right. If you read the book, Steve says, "I finally cracked it." But, the book describes his first interaction with Siri at the Board meeting where he resi…

For everyone complaining about the "limited" size of the SSD's on the Airs: Really? Do you really cart around 500-1000GB of photos with you to work on? How many can you work on while you're "on the go" anyways? Sheesh. Learn to use "the cloud" …

I don't see this happening. I, for one, wouldn't want a screen smaller than the iPads. I have my iPhone for that. If anything, I wouldn't mind a wall mountable version to function as a bedroom TV...maybe a 19-25" iPad? That'd be awesome.

Here's my thoughts after playing around for the weekend: Good: 1. The AirVideo iPhone app works VERY well. Streamed video from my HTPC in 2x mode looks HD quality. Amazing. 2. The iPad is "magic." Form factor. All the usual awesome st…

From following things on Twitter, it seems that UPS tracking is all messed up today. Many people say their tracking status (like mine) did NOT show "out for delivery", yet they got their iPads. Still waiting here, but more hopeful... Wish…

In all the time I've had my iPhone, I have not had a single time when I've felt that I needed the ability to run multiple apps simultaneously. Really. If an app is well designed, it will pick right back up where you left off anyway, so it's no d…

I'm not going to type a 10 page paper on the damn thing. It will be more than fine for email, surfing the web, reading books, and watching movies... Touch screens are the future (anyone seen Star Trek?). Get used to them now...they're here to s…

Anyone know what time these things are supposed to show up Sat? My UPS tracking says "Express", which on UPS' site says, "before 10:30 or before noon"...is that right? We can expect these in the morning?

I think the photo capabilities of the iPad are highly overrated. How many people are REALLY going to use it in that fashion. What I see is more and more people headed towards direct-to-net uploads of their pictures using a WiFi-capable SD card,…
