Ok, initially I just wasn't convinced. But 24 hours later I find I've softened to the idea of owning an iPad! In fact I've even changed my fantasy mac line-up; I've deleted the stationary power mac and replaced it with a 17" (maybe 19"!) macboo…

I think singing it's praises and calling it a success is exactly the same as saying it's a complete failure. Listing it's possible uses is a valid exercise. Just saw some greaseball douche on the news saying it's already a massive success and …

I think all of us agree it would be a shame if this thing 'bombed' in the eyes of the public as Steve has supposedly put so much time/effort into it.

The iPad; buy one because it's cool. Own one because succumbing to the hype is easier than resisting it. During ownership justify it's existence by purchasing apps, music and videos through iTunes. 12 months down the line you realize you don't ac…

Love it or loathe it, initial sales figures will pretty much pass judgement on the iPad. I suspect this won't create many new Apple consumers, certainly not in the same way the iPhone and iPod did, nowhere near.

Next stop....MAcbook App store, iMac app store...movies, music, apps. That's what Apple will be all about, a glorified Blockbuster video.

I can see people complaining about keeping the screen clean already, and rightly so. Also, watching video for longer than 10mins is a pleasure on my macbook as I don't have to hold the damn thing, but I fear with the ipad you'll get tired of having…
