Perhaps a tariff on all goods imported from Indonesian equivalent to Apple's investment will change their mind. I would also suggest such a tariff on all good imported from EU countries should they continue their planned punitive actions against Apple equalling a 10% tax on Apple's global sales. Hit them where it hurst the most then sit back and listen to the screaming from their manufacturers.

Apple has had all the time in the world to get it right, and still, like so many products, they release a half-assed technology that breaks more than it fixes. if you can't use the voice commands to enter text, then supply a better remote. For all…

Apple shareholders should be upset? GM shareholders have more reason to fear, given the history of the Detroit car industry and that all of the big 3 are a mere shell of their former magnitude. Why? They never were able to read the market and wer…

Despite all the article this site has run about Apple's market share vs. profit share, they just don't seem to get the message. At the end of the year the market share may, in fact, be 25%. But the profit share will be closer to 70%, while Samsung…

Interesting sidebar: if you fine a player $10,000 for wearing a non-conforming headphone, what do you fine a NFL Commissioner who has brought shame and disgust down on the NFL for his repugnant behavior, dishonesty and neglect?

Bad idea and not feasible. Lightening is still too expensive, many people have incompatible headphones they paid a lot of money for, Lightening has gained virtually no traction in the marketplace, the plugs fall out at the slightest jarring...I cou…

If Apple spent a little time on making the iPad/iPhone Remote app better, the ATV would be a much better product. Example: to switch between various apps onscreen you have to back out of the one you are in and then find the other app and go through…

The biggest problem with ATV is that there is no App for it. The remote control is a joke and the Remote app is dreadful, providing none of the benefits a thoughtful app could provide: direct access to content, stored preferences, real navigation t…

Be interesting to see what happens when they try to roll out in South Korea...Samsung will be waiting for them with guns blazing!

I, too was caught up in the excitement of MobileMe, signed up immediately, and have had nothing but problems ever since. Synching is sporadic at best, availability of iDisk spotty, uploading is laconic to say the least, and the sharing mechanism so…
