They do have a ton of cash and one thing is for sure...they have enough business sense that they aren't going to give away stuff for free as much as we would like them to. For example, they could easily give the latest Mac operating system for fr…

Got to tell you, I am not happy with Apple requiring Lion for this app. Snow Leopard came out in 2009. A little under 3 years and major new app doesn't support it. At some point this gets a little ridiculous, does it not?

With a user base in the tens of millions, it would be a huge mistake for Apple to change this connector. My main gripe is that they curved the edge of the iPad 2, making it a less secure fit. I get infuriated as it is trying to get the correct co…

People in general are being overly judgmental of the Jobs. Of course they have given to charity. It's just not meeting the expectations of some, and there's no evidence if they gifted anonymously. I read about his residence in Palo Alto and that…

I was pleasantly surprised with the last version of WebOS that I looked at for smart phones, about a year ago. It was incredibly polished. I tried to get one of the TouchPads when they were clearing out but could not get one before the early birds. …

I think advertising that mentions or shows competing products is just plain bad. You are basically continuing to establish your competitor instead of your own product. I also couldn't help but wonder about how much Samsung copied Apple's product.…

I think HP really messed up. Their WebOS is decent, and their tablets sold like hotcakes when they got rid of them at fire sale prices. The lesson is that people would buy them at a lower price point. They need to somehow get the price poin…

I'd consider this as I use my iPad mostly for Netflix...but I'm looking at the feature list and am curious as to what "Exclusive design for remarkable clarity and minimal reflection & glare" actually means. Does it have a special coating? Tha…

They really just need a viable tower. The Mac Pro is a huge, expensive dinosaur that I would like to see disappear off the face of the Earth, but you shouldn't have to buy a PC to get a machine with a replaceable video card. Even a taller Mac Min…

Based on what I've read in other iPhone threads, I would guess to: - Turn off Location Services - Turn off Wifi - Lower screen brightness Just basic stuff. LCD's have always been battery drainers, as has Wifi.
