Fast page outs won't help you when you are trying to run multiple VM's. The memory used by VM's is wired and cannot be swapped.

Did you actually say "an explosion of interest in Galaxy Note 7 " ?

Looks like Pochahontas's attack on Apple yesterday was payback for getting to cozy with Republicans

On an Apple site one expects to see a lot of Android bashing and a lot of Android bashing is justified. This article however is alarmist nonsense. A zero day kernel exploit is a problem on a Linux server available to thousands of anonymous users. …

More and more this whole deal is beginning to sound like bullshit. I can't remember any corporate acquisition in which there were so many leaks. There was even one story on apple insider about Iovine and Dre appearing at WWDC. Aside from the inap…

The Music service is crap too. I'm already finding that they don't have the selection of Rdio and I suspect Spotify. Their mobile app may be slick but there web app is clumsy and difficult to use and they don't have the pricing options that the o…

11.1.2 is awful. Hopefully this is more than a "minor" fix. It frequently hangs or crashes during a sync, it "forgets" movies, tv shows and audiobooks, as noted the equalizer doesn't work and most recently I was unable to update iOS on my iPhone. A…

"This year we put a '6' on the box." Seriously what has changed from Version 5 ? All I see is the boilerplate claims of "bigger, faster !". I've found that Fusion 5 works fine with the Mavericks developer previews. I don't see the point of an u…

If Apple or anybody else has a problem paying $35,000 or whatever the prevailing minimum wage they're free to locate their campus in Alabama or Arkansas. I happen to be a Republican who believes in the free market but that doesn't mean I'm some …

Personally I'm at wits end with Lion's instability. It's generally slow, it swaps excessively and doesn't seem to reuse swap space, very often is doesn't hibernate properly ( I know hibernation isn't in the UI, but it is documented and it worked wi…

No, it is your ignorance that is amazing. A large percentage, although not 95% buy an ipad because its an apple device and its cool. They won't even look at a Kindle. Another large percentage buy an iPad because the need iOS to be compatible with…
