Not sure if this came up yet, but does anyone know if the new AppleTV will act as a wireless extender/access point like the Airport Express? I'd consider buying one for my bedroom TV if it did, since I have an ethernet port in there and the wireless…

OK, am I the only one who thinks you're all reading into this a little bit too much? Didn't Apple have some kind of program for re-imaging (as in, re-installing the software back to factory defaults or something) iPods when they got screwed up? …

Everyone also seems to be forgetting that the heat sinks on the MDD G4s are also HUGE, although not quite as big as on the G5. And of course they have several LOUD fans. Doesn't stop them from putting a G4 in a powerbook.

They were obviously charging quite a bit for the labor, as even a slot-loading laptop SuperDrive doesn't cost nearly that much.

Nah, he was talking about the Radeon 9800, which is a bit of a stretch to say it is a "pro graphics card." On the other hand, the professional cards are all essentially identical to the consumer cards, save slight driver differences and huge pric…

I'd be almost certain you can run those resolutions no problem. You may however need to download a program like PowerStrip on the PC to enable "odd" resolutions. Out of the box, usually only standard resolutions (1024 x 768, 1600 x 1200, etc.) are l…

I find it very hard to believe that CompUSA has any G5s on display. Do any of the Apple stores even have them on display?

Umm, you do realize that many of the "product images" on Apple's website are also renderings, right? I know the ones for the PowerBook are (and were back in the PBG3 days as well), and as already stated, the iPod ones are renderings too. Some others…
