I think there is something so fundamentally right about the design of Apple's entire computer line-up (except the Macbook) that I can't think of any improvements other than -maybe- a smaller footprint for the MacPro. To me they are truly one of t…

Lately I have been thinking that the next-gen MacPro may well be a new, smaller design. As such they could actually make it a box that can stand upright like a tower or lay flat like a desktop model. From there it would not be a big step to have …

I think it is wrong to reserve the most powerful CPU's for the 27" iMacs. I'd prefer the 21.5" for luggability, but would be forced to take the 27" if I wanted the i7. Hope Apple changes that with the next line-up.

BOOH! No Front Row? I use it daily. My aging '07 iMac is the perfect entertainment center. I can lay in bed with the remote and use it pretty much like a TV/DVD-player. I'm beginning to like Lion less and less.

I'm gonna miss the old-style Dashboard. works just fine with the old Mighty Mouse. Click the 3rd button and it's there. Click again and it's gone. Same with Expose. Click the 4th or 5th button et voila. Click on the window you want and you're do…

It looks sleek and well thought out, but I can't shake the feeling that this is another step in dumbing down and bloating the OS. One thing I like about SL is the smaller footprint compared to Leopard. I hope Lion won't bring that right back up.
