Cameronj: thanks for the civil answer. Although I'm an amateur investor, I got into AAPL low, and expect (someday) to sell high. Who knows when, and at what price, that might be. Wherever Apple stocks go over the next year, I'm still intereste…

Well thanks for the "idiot comment" TS, I presume (hope) you left out the /sarcasm tag on purpose. As an unsophisticated AAPL stock owner, I was just asking if anyone had a view why Apple seems to have such wild swings in the market. Can anyone …

Re: Bothaus. All I'm saying, is that since installing 10.6.8, I'm getting thrashing on my machine because of the dock process. This didn't happen before (what's your Dock cpu%) so I am putting forward a possible causal connection. I thought that's…

I'm having a similar issue on a 2.16 iMac, except that it is the Dock process that is running at 99%+

Mac/iPad convergence: I'm hoping the iPad is a prototype of Apple's future MacBookPro. Slim form, virtual keyboard, portrait or landscape view orientation, multi-touch. Imagine an MBP15/17 with all the necessary ports on the side but with no lid or…
