  • Well as I also said in my first post I fear functionality - really basic functionality, like being able to refer to emails whilst writing a new one - is being jettisoned for faux coherence with iOS when the two are meant to do different things any…
  • Yes the "All my Files' makes no sense to me either nor is hiding Library. I'd agree that I was happier with Snow Leopard. I also worry that the kiddy feel of iOS apps will migrate to OS X, losing further the coherence across the UI.

  • I too will add my voice to those concerned over the loss of iDisk. I've never come to close to using my 20GB but it has been invaluable to me to have a local iDisk on my two computers and to be able to access the latest version of a backed up folder…
  • I'm intrigued you suggest the 13". I'd been erring towards the 11" because of it's lighter weight but obviously the extra screen space would be good too. I wonder how much I'd miss it if using Word on full screen mode on the 11"? Ideally I'd love to…

  • Haven't heard any confirmation that MobileMe is EOL. In fact the opposite - that it was to be beefed up and some of it meant to be free.
  • When do you think we're likely to see SandyBridge make it into the iMac and Macbook Air? I have one of the original Alu Macbook and it took a big dent when I dropped it a few months back. It's still ticking over OK but I'm experiencing a few problem…

  • That's very interesting. I don't see how as a model it can survive - except perhaps laziness in some consumers if they provide a range of other utilities. I certainly wonder how long it might be before we see live events being available to purchase …
