It’s amazing that one self entitled individual could potentially destroy an entire security model. There are literally millions of more choices for the consumer because of this model if one remembers the relatively few programs available during the PC era—maybe thousands. 

Gee, I really want a Mopar Hemi Hellcat engine in my Camaro, Let’s have a class action lawsuit against GM for not allowing me to order one that way. 

Imagine if these devices had built in back doors like someone the government want. 

How about fining the carriers $1 for every faked caller ID it lets through. I’d rather see no number available than a fake one. 

My worry is that Apple will get blamed for all the problematic transactions outside the App Store just like it gets blamed for suicides at Foxconn. You watch, will be seeing the sob story about the family just barely making it and their child runs up a big bill with a third party. When the third party refuses a refund, it will somehow be Apple’s fault.
