maybe they just don't expect much from Google, but do expect a lot from Apple.  No use reporting on shortcomings when you know they are there, and are expected.  

Can they go a step further and have a toggle that prevents any data connection via USB?   I'm not a power user, but I can't remember the last time I connected my phone to anything to transfer data.  Everything is cloud based (backup, sync, etc), AirDrop,  or just email/imessaged as far as I know.  

Then again I have nothing of interest to law enforcement.  

Anyone got a score card of the doom and gloom analysts up until last week?  

Collusion between Apple and the Wall Street Analysts to drive the price down during a buy back push!  lol, just kidding with that tin foil stuff.  

Whatever the reason, whomever the instigator, I'm happy with my investment and the way AAPL is run.  I hope we all are, as investors or customers.

This weekend I had a windshield chip repaired.  They told me before they started there is a chance as they are trying to fix it that the crack will spread and require a new windshield.  I signed that I acknowledged that risk.  Is that what Apple is worried about as well, that they may cause more damage when trying to open/repair?  If so couldn't they have that option of a waiver signed before they open a dented case or chipped screen?

I fully get why they won't bother with that hassle, but seems they could make these annoying trolls shut up if they were willing to pass the risk to the customer in some minor instances.  If the screen is spider-webbed then no chance, but that little nick could probably still be opened without doing more damage.
