It's still hideous.  The notch is definitely striking, but not in a good way.  And the fact that this "feature" is being copycatted is both laughable and pathetic.

The fact they are copying for what Apple (in my opinion) had to settle for is funny.  Apple will keep working to get to a solution that is better.

no way it could or should look different perhaps based on todays needs and capabilities, but trust me if Apple innovates a new design that is more functional or allows more capabilities then they will strike out on their own again and everyone will follow.  "who wants a fat, square watch?" was the common question early on, now the answer is "everyone I guess".

I love it when companies run negative ad campaigns or even just have negative comments about a product and then are either stuck or have to eat their words.  Some common examples I can think of are Chevy trashing the F150 aluminum bed and now seeing the results and wanting to copy it (notice those ads aren't running anymore and they aren't poking fun at aluminum?) and Southwest Airlines "bags fly free" and then seeing how many billions the industry are making off bag fees and not being able to add those same fees.

Coupled with the fact their products don't hold up even when babied, I'm not dealing with them again.  And their pricepoint will likely be $299 at the lowest, which at that point why get the copycat and not an AW?
