    Can't wait for MfG to be out for a year and when Apple mentions it at their DevCon in 2019 all the Fandroids will claim Apple once again copying everyone else.

    AW3 has potential, VAST potential.  I wish they would have solved this LTE issue before releasing it.  I don't trust my watch without my phone.  I thought I had solved it by clearing my network history and not joining any Wifi except my single 2.4g at home but that failed me last night at the park.  My watch said it had cell service with 4 green dots, but when I got back to my house my phone had a missed call and three texts on it.  None of them hit my watch until my phone was in range, and I only then saw them because I went and looked at the text conversations.  Never once did I get an alert that the messages came in, even after it paired with my phone.  


    Still love the watch, it's my first AW.  But I want it to just work as every other apple product has.  i'm spoiled, I can admit that.

    Its a PILOT program, that's why. Besides, getting FDA approval is a process that moves at glacier speeds, even after a product has been approved in the Euro zone, Canada and Japan (not exactly dubious third world countries)/ More people die awaiting FDA approval than are helped in the 5 - 10 years after release. Also, the glacially slow FDA process is a huge contributor to product (aka drugs) retail prices. FDA approved drugs to be packaged in GREEN containers, while non-approved drugs are packaged in RED containers with clear statements, in large bold typeface, that the drug has not been approved by the FDA and may be hazardous to the users health.     What?  After Stage 1?  No thanks, maybe after Stage 3.  Stage 1 (phase 1) is just to prove it won't kill you, nothing to do with how well it works.  :)

    My 42mm LTE will arrive Friday.  

    The only thing that probably has been addressed and I just haven't REALLY searched for is how this will affect "find my friend".  Will I need to switch back and forth between my phone and my watch location if I want to leave my phone at home?  I know I can do that for my iPads but always leave my phone as the location choice.
