  • September 15 event is for 'Apple Watch Series 6,' not 'iPhone 12,' report claims

What is Prosser saying now that he’s been proven wrong about a release announcement (not event announcement) coming out definitely today?

How many times do these “well connected” people have to be wrong before we stop taking their rumors as anything more than unsubstantiated rumors and stop writing articles about them?

  • 'Apple Tags' tracking devices launching summer 2020, says Ming-Chi Kuo

Apple can say hello to lawsuits for pulling competitors apps, while developing a competing product (on this one).  Also, considerable antitrust scrutiny...

Not sure why Apple is going down this road, unless they figure the App Store is going to be spun off anyways.

Maybe Apple is just desperate for a product that makes AR useful, after getting little interest from developers...
Can you please give some background on your post?  Who’s app did they pull that is related to this upcoming product launch?

Apple Tags sounds just like Tile, though hopefully much better.  My one experience with a Tile Slim was terrible.  I still see the Tile app in the App Store, so I have no idea what your cryptic post is referring to.

  • Tim Cook confirms Apple Card will launch in more countries

Don't know how they're going to make money on me. I only use it for ApplePay purchases and pay it off every month, so they give me free credit and 2% cash back on all my expenses. Maybe they'll make it up in volume.
They charge at least 2.7% to the end merchant, so yes, they’ll eventually make it up on volume. Even with paying you 2%.

However, Apple own speaker HomePod is not.!
Is not what?  HomePod supports it as of today according to the article, all others mentions are “coming soon” support.

  • Apple becoming more open about product placements in TV shows

But it works. A friend here in Europe asked me one day if everyone in the US uses Mac computers. When I told him that no, Apple’s market share is around 10-15%, he said, “But they’re all people use in movies.”
Correct, most Europeans have little concept of what a “normal” American’s life is like or what they do or have.  There are very few accurate portrials of middle class or lower-middle class Americans on television or on the big screen.
