Apple urges users to send money to friends with Apple Pay Cash, upgrade to iOS 11.2
My wife and I tried sending money to each other via ApplePay Cash. It worked as easy as could be. However, the only thing we could do was deposit to our banks because when we tried to use it at the usual places we pay with Apple Pay, the transactions were declined every time. I contacted Apple and walked through all their steps, and nothing they suggested remedied the problem. -
Surviving Thanksgiving: iPhone-connected fitness accessories to burn off calories
I wouldn’t buy the Powerbeats with someone else’s money. My wife has had her pair since May. We spent the summer training for a half marathon, and after 2 or 3 long runs they would crap out. She’s now on her 4th replacement. Based on the reviews online, her experience isn’t uncommon. The popular theory is that sweat travels down the cord, to the volume/mic control and shorts something out, and that makes sense, as she could predict a pair about to die by the volume going haywire. Then they refuse to stay connected to her iPhone or Apple Watch, then refuse to respond at all. Same pattern, every time.
On on the other hand, my AirPods have been bulletproof! I can’t recommend them enough, even for working out! -
