  • Twitter sues Elon Musk for backing out of $44 billion merger

How many fukking idiots do we need in every Musk/Twitter story talk about bots or Twitter not giving up that information when Musk waived due diligence? Seriously, how stupid are you?

NVM, some people still think Trump won or the Earth is flat. Why should they limit their stupidity to those two when they can add Musk/bots to their arsenal?

  • Early M2 benchmarks show clear CPU, GPU performance gains over M1

    For comparison, a late 2020 MacBook Prowith an M1 chip received a single-core score of 1749 and a multi-core score of 7719.

Why do people always cherry-pick single results?

Geekbench shows the result for a 2020 MacBook Pro 13" M1 to be 1707 single core, not 1749 like you stated.

Geekbench averages out numerous tests and discards scores that are unusually low/high before posting a result for their benchmark charts. This is why it often takes days/weeks (or months for less popular devices) before a device appears in the Geekbench Charts. For example, the i7-1260P/1280P aren't in the chart yet because not enough test results have been submitted,

  • What to expect from WWDC 2022 - and what not to

What to expect? Same thing as every previous WWDC.

Apple will talk about new features and probably overuse words like “amazing” and “incredible”. Apple will deliver a solid set of upgrades, but haters will claim
    it’s “not enough”.

Android fans will fly into a rage saying Apple copied ideas from Android and had the nerve to claim they invented them even though Apple won’t actually say they invented them. Nothing upsets Android users more than iPhone users getting new features. Especially if it’s one they have (like always on display).

It’s like they can’t stand when someone else improves their products. They want Apple to perpetually keep the iPhone “as is” so they can complain about all the dealbreaker features it’s missing. And Apple adding features over the years is whittling down their list of complaints and giving them less to bitch about. This makes them furious.

  • Google I/O sees debut of Pixel 6a, Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds Pro

Google announces a new initiative to resurrect Android on tablets starting with Android 12L and Play Store changes. Then they announce a tablet that won’t be available until 2023? And people are supposed to take them seriously? Especially with their long history of starting, then abandoning new products/services? What a joke.

Round watch? Enough said. The epitome of form over function. Make a watch that looks like traditional watches while sacrificing screen real estate and usability.

Ecosystem? Google is missing one huge piece. They don’t have a desktop OS (Windows or macOS). They have a mobile OS (Android), an even less useful wannabe OS (Chrome) and yet another mobile/embedded OS (Fuchsia). And they think by adding some interoperability (like Android Apps on Chromebooks) somehow makes for a viable desktop platform. They’re stuck making their products work with Windows or macOS but can never have the deep integration possible when you control the entire “ecosystem”.

  • Apple employees disgruntled over return to working in offices

    Boo-fucking-hoo.

The level of entitlement these people have is next-level. Imagine what all the millions of people who worked through the entire pandemic think of these snowflakes.
