Apple debuts ninth-generation iPad with A13 processor for $329
blah64 said:Seriously? "The old-fashioned Touch ID"?
Why use such loaded language? It's not old-fashioned, it's just different. Works better with masks, allows use under a table without being a distraction to others, and various other advantages. Sure, faceID also has advantages, but those 2 words are just oddly biased and completely unnecessary.
Read the sentence with other options, like "traditional", i.e.The traditional Touch ID sensor is still in use below the display.
Or better yet, and more professional, no biased words at all, i.e.The Touch ID sensor is still in use below the display. -
Apple says clean Apple Card with a microfiber cloth, avoid contact with leather and denim
wizardddd4 said:How about the Apple Card® Socks?
Story:Interestingly, certain fabrics like leather and denim could permanently discolor the card's matte white finish, which is achieved through a multi-layer coating process. That same coating might be damaged if it comes in contact with hard surfaces or materials. And apparently despite the (implied fancy) multi layer coatings it's at risk of discoloration from most wallets.

Samsung could have its own Apple Park with $5 billion, but has the ashes of Galaxy Note 7 ...
I don't understand what's going on. I'm actually a bit surprised that AI is still posting DED articles but that might be because it gets clicks. Because other AI decisions have turned it from a fan site that it was a decade ago to letting the forum become playground for Google partisans shitting on everything that Apple does, whether or not it's on topic, "because it makes the forum more lively".
And while I'm not a fan of DED's flagrant style, I do think it's worth pointing out how much the tech pundit industry is very biased against Apple. There's also a long standing practice that Apple gets shit on for doing X then a year later, competitors are praised for doing X, with negative credit to Apple for blazing that trail and normalizing X for everyone else.
