'The Morning Show' returns in fall 2025 -- here's when to watch
Sorry above commenters, but this is flogging the proverbial horse to death. Americans are really bad at this. It happens all the time. A good show keeps going and going until it dies a sad, unloved death. It’s lazy. See also Disney with Marvel, Star Wars. A travesty.
Better to put the effort, money and resources into new ideas. Given the quality of Apple movies lately (eg fountain of youth, the gorge), that might be a very, very good idea.
Why not take a leaf out of the k-drama format? A set, standard number of episodes, a complete story arc, and that’s it. Then producers go off and do a completely new story. Just like a book, in fact why not base it on a great book? In the Korean context, they often base a story on a successful webtoon. And multi book stories could be multiseries. The Koreans do 16 episodes as a rule, but also occasionally do 8,12 or 22. Maybe Apple could do a standard 8-12.Slow Horses is a good example of what I mean. Each series is based on a separate book. Maybe hornblower books or other serial book stories (I would say reacher, but already done by prime well, although it destroyed Jack Ryan) would make a good set, but concentrate on stand alone novels I would say. some of this type of approach is quite famous. Think 1995 Pride and Prejudice six part story arc. -
CarPlay Ultra's first trial reveals a deeply integrated, Apple-like experience
If you have an android phone it just defaults to the standard Aston Martin configuration.
as for android more generally, they are doing similar but more forked versions that the manufacturers build I think. Like GM is doing.
But otherwise, that CarPlay ultra is awesome. Be interesting to see once Hyundai makes it available for the ordinary punters, and will Hyundai backdate it to the digital instrument panel and HUD on my 2021 Santa Fe?
