  • iPhone 14 could sport upgraded front cameras for selfies, FaceTime calls

There is only one upgrade I care about for the next iPhone and its the reason I skipped the 13.  Please just make it USB C.  That's it.  Every other device I travel with is USB-C, just make it happen Apple!

You know you can get a Lightning cable or MagSafe with a USB C connector on the other end.
Well aware and I could say that about any cable format.  Doesn't mean I want to go back to old PS/2 or Serial ports for mouse/keyboard and other peripherals.  At this point, lightening isn't just inconvenient, its also outdated at usb 2.0 data transfer speeds.  Its a great physical connector design, in that regards its superior to USB C.  However, they moved every other item they make to USB C, it would make sense to do the same with the iphone.

  • Five Galaxy S22 Ultra features which should be on the iPhone

I believe that only free AirPods Pro would be a good option, the under screen finger print sensor does not seem nearly as good as Face ID. I have a work phone that has a under screen finger print reader and I dislike it strongly. Face ID on my iPhone works way better.
I loved face id, right until the pandemic hit.  Then having to type my passcode in when i was in the office/public became highly annoying.  I would love to see touch id reimplemented in future iphones, either through the power button like the ipads or through an under screen scanner.  I still love face id, but the last couple of years have shown me its good to have multiple options.

  • Nvidia close to giving up on $40B Arm acquisition

It was very good acquisition for Nvidia to push ARM in data centers(low power consumption with higher performance) but UK not giving up it's crown jewel, few good companies UK have left
While I believe apple has a perpetual license for the ARM instruction set, my main concern with Nvidia purchasing arm is that they could start blocking out those current customers who don't.  I think the value of ARM as solely a instruction set/chip designer is that is has allowed so many companies to flourish.  While Nvidia being able to integrate some of their graphics and deep learning technology could push ARM forward, I don't think its worth the risk of either fracturing or blocking out other ARM licensees and the market that has created.   If you compare the list of people licensing/making ARM chips vs the x86 universe, its so much more diverse.  I can't see the Nvidia acquisition maintaining that level of openness and accessibility.

  • Peloton halts production of fitness bikes, cites 'significant' loss of demand

They need to either cut the subscription cost or cut the cost of the bike.  You can use the app with any generic bike for $13 a month, or you can buy their bike at a premium to then pay $39 dollars a month.  Yeah, you get some additional features and more interaction in class, but your paying 3 times as much per year just to use their expensive hardware.  They should allow integration with third party bikes and then go strictly for subscription model.  Or they could continue to sell premium bikes, but this would allow their app to reach more people.
