Nowhere have they said that workers are being let go from Apple, only reassigned. Big difference.

Here in Canada, I just signed up for 50GB/month home LTE solution for $60/month, and no up-front cost except taxes for the device. I thought that was expensive, but it's still better than competitor options. Unfortunately, the device that TELUS is giving out is the Huawei SmartHub. I actually cancelled my plan when I found out it was that brand, but they delivered the unit anyway, so I decided to give it a shot. So far, so good. Much better than the slow ADSL we have in this old apartment building.

Although a bit large and bulky with the case I got, the XR is the best iPhone I've had to date! I never thought moving away from the Home button would bring such joy. The gestures feel so so so natural, I find it awkward using my old SE with the Home button.

Yah, but not for $999 Canadian. That's TWICE the price of what the mini should be.

I'm super disenchanted with the Lightning connector. Two iPhone SE's in a row have had problems maintaining a charging connection. The cable is connected, but I need to wiggle around to find the exact spot where a power connection is made. I always thought the Lightning connection was a serious upgrade over the 30-pin connector but I never had this problem with that older connector over 8 years, not once. So far, two SE's in two years have given me grief to no end.
