Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway buys $1B of Apple stock
Told you guys. When the ridiculous flood of bad news starts to turn that is THE time to buy Apple. Bought at $89.50 last week (posted on a different thread). Cook has a different way of handling his business, but he's doing fine. Berkshire certainly thinks so.

Ok. In big since $50 pre-split (i.e. a long time ago). In fact, I just bought more at $89.50. There have been periods during that time where Apple has retracted and it was a full court press (like now) by the media and big money to get this as low as possible. One thing that is happening with big money is they are having to reallocate portfolios because Apple is not in the "growth stock" category any more. This is causing some of the heart burn that investors are feeling at this time. The beat down is beyond ridiculous at this point. Apple will come back. Tim Cook is a capable CEO. At times he can seem apathetic (I will admit), and dealing with a portfolio hit like this is not pleasant. I do believe in the future of Apple as Tim will press on and continue focusing on making the best products available for consumers. Long and strong.

5s here. I'll upgrade. Never took the plunge on the 6/6s and want a bigger screen now. The last paragraph on the uSwitch site says the renders are 3-4 months old. That's confusing. If this is the latest rumor why are the renders 3-4 months old?

I don't know if you were kidding but if not....You will NEVER get a response with a question like that. You know Apple will not say anything about future products. I'm also sure there's someone screening those emails before they get to someone at Apple so I bet yours was trashed before it even reached Tim (or whomever you emailed). Those products will be out when they're ready. Don't hold your breath for a Mac mini with a discrete graphics card in it if thats what you're waiting for. I seriously doubt it will ever be like the previous models with 2 HD bays, expandable RAM, etc. Those days are long gone!
I'm telling ya...the media wants Apple to fail. Its more of a story for a big company to fail than it is to report good news about a company. They could stretch this story out for months and people would tune in.Its very unfortunate yes. Too many times Apple (and other companies) do great things that go unnoticed.

<rant> Lets see which big media outlets run this story. The collusion for big money/media to bring Apple's share price down as much as possible has almost finished running its course. When you see non stop negative stories surrounding a company you know that it is a targeted attack. The doom and gloom has passed extreme levels. That means it is almost finished. These corrupt scoundrels will turn their attention to Amazon next. No where in the past two years have you read a single negative thing about that overbought balloon. That is about to change. </rant>. Although Tim's reply was brief, it was at least a reply. Health is going to be an even bigger deal with the Apple Watch 2 and coming products. Everyone cares about that.
