  • Trump says SoftBank to invest $50B in US, hopes to create 50,000 jobs

Wow, a million dollars per job, that's like 100 grand a year salary for ten years.  I'm not a bit skeptical.

Yes, your sarcasm--and skepticism of politicians is warranted.  But Trump has already shown he's going to do what he says.  He's accomplished more in 1 month as PEOTUS than Obama has in 8 years actually being in office.  Trump's message is that the US is open for business.  He's going to have businesses and capital fighting to get here.  Just watch.
You're as full of shit as Trump is. He has done squat except put forth a bunch of incompetents at his side, and bribed Carrier to keep just some of their jobs here, but most are still going to Mexico. That is most certainly NOT what he promised. And to think, as Trump claims, that the investment would not have been made had he not won the election is just typical Trump BS. SoftBank already raised this money with a clear intention in mind.
Yep you heard about the 800 staying but not so much about the 1300 leaving.  Dude also needs to delete his twitter account.

I think the reason Apple extended the iPhone 6 design into the 7 model is because the new design which will be introduced as the 8 was not ready yet. Which makes most people are predicting that 8 will be a radical change in design, materials and some new tricks. I tend to hold onto my iPhones for 3 years so I don't really care but I am puzzled by people that upgrade every year for what recently has been minor changes (3D touch) and camera improvements. I see no reason for it but then again I live debt free, pay my cc bill in full each month and don't shop because I am bored.
I told am holding a 3 year old phone the 6+

I see ZERO reason to buy the 6s or the 6ss.
Ok. All you ever f@$king do is complain. Like if something from Digitimes can be totally trusted. I'm sure someone like you would want a completely new device every year. See how that is working out for Samsung. Let's see what the 8 looks like before we count Tim out. Same crap every year Apple is doom.
Actually I believe he posts depending on either his position in the stock or if he has run out of his meds or not.  One day it's rainbows and butterflies, the next day it's chicken little.

  • Chinese state-run media promises consequences for Apple, others if Trump starts trade war

So what do we do now ? How do you ignore this from a stock perspective, these big drops lately are really stressing me out, FB, GOOG, AMZN are crashing too,
Yeah but AAPL has some semblance of support around 103.  If it falls through look out.  The others are in free fall mode.  AAPL p/e can be justified.  The others cannot.  In this kind of uncertain environment those high p/e stocks tend to get slammed and brought back down to earth.  People rotating money toward infrastructure and defense plays as well which is accounting for this.  I still say Cook, Apple, and the investors will come out on top here in the long term but imo Cook needs to start looking out for the investors in terms of a special divi or something along those lines.  The buy backs didn't cut it and the stock has moved sideways for 2 years basically.

Trump would be a major idiot to have a trade war with China. It would be economic suicide for the world. It'd be like going to war with yourself. Not a playground to test out your hair-brained ideas hairdo.

Let's just hope it's bullshit he spouted—as he does—merely to fool Americans into electing him. I get that Americans didn't want Hilary, but boy that's little choice there. One big fat big liar and another little skinny big fat liar. Like Pepsi or Pepsi with extra sugar thrown in.
The thing is... the american people DID want Hilary... she won the popular vote over trump... the electoral system is just broken if you ask me...

I didn't vote for another entity to place their vote... I voted for the president... oh well...
Unfortunately for you (and many other occupiers), you can't change the rules of the game while it's being played.  Founding father's implemented this to avoid mob rule and allow small states to have a voice.  Had Hill won the electoral and Trump the pop you would have been just fine with the electoral college.

This is another failure by Cook.

Instead of hedging his bets he went 100% with Clinton. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid move by Cook. He should have played both sides. Instead he went all in with Clinton and has egg on his face now.

This is what I absolutely DETEST about Cook. He allows his PERSONAL VALUES and POLITICAL VALUES to pollute the Apple brand. This election should have not had any effect on Apple. Yet the stock lost $60 billion in value the last week because of Cook spreading his political agenda.

The CEO of a multi-national corporation should be playing both sides. Another absolute failure by the fool Cook. He thinks he's running a charity and social non-profit.
Bezos went in worse.  Tim never made personal attacks against Trump, but Bezos said he'd like to shoot him into outer space, used his Washington ComPost as a main outlet for never ending personal attacks, etc.  Tim made it obvious who he backed as he contributed personally (a cool mil) to the Hill campaign and so on.  I personally don't feel CEOs should connect themselves so closely to candidates.  It can back fire too easily, which is the case here and elsewhere.
