  • Hammer finally falls as Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is officially, permanently discontinued

Samsung forever has Apple in their commercials.  Always comparing themselves to Apple.  This was inevitable.  They don't focus on themselves, they focus on the competition.  The commercial where everyone is gathered around a charging station at the airport with their iPhones immediately comes to mind.  There are countless others.  Lets see this flipped with everyone holding Notes around an airport power station.  Wouldn't end well for them.  Apple strictly focuses on Apple, making themselves better, so that commercial would never happen anyway.

You'd want your head examined to not ask for your money back and run as far away from this company as humanly possibly after that happening. Waking up and your bedrooom is full of smoke? Feck me, that's scary. Samsung are negligent and totally irresponsible. This will forever tarnish their brand—mark these words. Samsung are not just demonstrating a lack of leadership, but a lack of care and respect. Their products nor their company can no longer be trusted. A real rain is coming.
Unfortunately, it won't tarnish their brand at all as no major news agency is really yelling about it.  And fandroids don't care either.  They'll buy any piece of junk from Samsung anyway because of their unbelievable hatred for Apple.
Maybe not.  But I know of 3 "regular" non-fandroid folks who bought Note 7s and returned them.  They are not buying another Samsung phone either.  There are a LOT of "regular" folks out there.

  • Samsung's chip & display businesses rescue profits in wake of exploding Note 7 recall

Wait until next quarter.  Will be horrific.  Besides the Samsung fanatics, the "regular" folks are steering clear of the Note.  I personally know three people who bought Notes and are returning them permanently and getting another phone from a different company.  I don't know what their replacement phones will be, but still, not good.

  • Health insurer Aetna to offer customer & employee discounts on Apple Watch

Just another way to steal and use your personal data against you. It's no different than a monitoring device designed to have the insurance companies make more money off of you. Since they couldn't knowingly get you to agree to have sensors implanted and cameras up your butt, this was the best alternative. Go ahead and sell your soul to Aetna for $130 subsidy.
Now we see you and mike1 are obviously the same person.  Trolls are really desperate (and not very bright) these days.

  • Some users complain about poor phone call sound on Apple's iPhone 7 & 7 Plus

Here's an out there idea... Why not call AppleCare instead of complaining to a blog? I know that's such a hard concept to comprehend, but maybe these people should try that first. The sound quality on my iPhone 7 is awesome. I have no complaints, and if I did, I would contact Apple about it first.
Apple support forums are considered a blog?
i think he was obviously referring to AI, from this line in the article: "according to complaints received by AppleInsider". whether this is a blog or not is splitting hairs, as his question remains valid -- why would one complain to a tech site rather than use their support options to resolve the problem? because controversy.

    but you knew that.
Yes you're right he did know that.  He has the tendency to pick and choose what he wants to critique to make himself look better.  It actually has the opposite effect.
