I've had some issues in the past couple of years with external HDDs and sleep/wake functions. That's with an M1 Max Studio. Never had disconnection problems though. Using the Mac app Amphetamine has worked pretty well in situations where I need the HDDs to run smoothly without suddenly going to sleep and/or having issues with waking. 

FYI: the "Department of Government Efficiency" isn't part of the government at all. It's just a glorified task force.

The DMA approach to app stores was always a waste of time. App prices on mobile were already at rock bottom relative to other platforms. There was never any evidence that Android generally provided consumers with better deals than iOS either. All the EU was doing is making it easier for billion/trillion dollar companies to not pay fees. That isn't going to have any effect on the prices that consumers pay. Companies will pocket the savings and continue charging the same prices. That's what always happens in the United States when big corporate tax cuts are passed...corporations add the money to profit or use it to do stock buybacks. They don't lower prices. 

Example: the $2 trillion U.S. tax cut in 2017 did not lower prices. It was the precursor to people complaining about inflated pricing several years later.

North Korea exists as it does because a decision was made during the Korean War, when the US interfered in another country’s affairs that it wanted to exclude itself from further interference.  This seems entirely reasonable to me. 

FYI: North Korea has troops fighting for Russia in Ukraine. 

Another FYI, the editorial cartoonist for the Washington Post quit her job because the Bezos owned Post wouldn't publish a cartoon criticizing these kinds of donations.
