Apple Watch making 'unmistakeable progress' in identifying Parkinson's disease
That is incredible! I know there's no cure for PD but it sure helps to give people more options. My grandfather had PD and I remember how his arm would shake when on phone and then as it progresses, his car would jerk because he couldn't control his legs (hitting brakes or gas) - the whole jerky ride made me laugh although it was NOT safe. As he started losing his mobility, he was sent to the nursing home and died a year later of pneumonia. I remember how "locked" he was - stiff body... and once he passed away, his body totally relaxed and flexible. So weird how a brain disease can literally "stiff" your body.
