  • Twitter Blue will cost more on an iPhone, than through a browser

Just asking, as I am not a Tesla car user.
Does Tesla sell subscriptions for "enhanced features".
Does Tesla allow 3rd party software/firmware access to its car's operating systems? Or does Tesla control the whole environment?
Is there any irony in Musks position, regarding Apple here?
    Or...
Does Tesla support Apple Car Play OOTB?

I'm not a Twitter user so personally, I hope it crashes and burns in a matter of months along with Truth Social.

  • Apple's ad agency recommends a stop to Twitter campaigns

My company tripled the Twitter marketing budget . We care about getting more customers, not politics.

A case of 'Never mind the Quality, feel the width' then?  More customers does not always translate into more profits. You need the right sort of customers. Now it your company makes products that are aimed at the sort of people who will be left on Twitter then fine but you are ignoring a lot of people with disposable income.

  • iOS 16.0.3 & watchOS 9.0.2 updates arrive with bug & security fixes

So do you want to just bitch about a trillion dollar company or go ahead and update to fix things? Or would you rather just wait and leave the bugs for one giant update six months later? Your choice. The trope about Apple’s QA is a myth. It never was any better than it is right now. I know because I’ve been using their products since 1982. Software was infinitely less complicated back then but viruses and hacking were rampant too.
IMOH, the only positive thing that can be said these days about Apple's Software Quality is that is a whole lot better than Microsoft's which gets visibly worse with every release.

    * somewhat amusingly, an unpopular Tory Prime Minister who was once a member of a different party and said that the existence of the monarchy was "disgraceful".  Actual quote.
My views (both political and towards the monarchy) now are very different from what they were when I was a student. Back then being a hard left (marxist-lennists, maoist, trotskyist and the rest) activist was all the rage. We all change so I don't hold our current PM's views from back then against her. I'm more interested in her vision (or lack of it) for the future.

This is a legally approved Bank holiday. Lots and lots of retailers (inc Harrods, Aldi and many more) are following suit and closing for the day. Holidays like this are generally included in your pay. Those with zero hour contracts may not receive any renumeration.
