Apple is late to AR, but it's going to succeed the way it always does
StrangeDays said:Headline is faulty -- Apple is not "late" to AR. AR is a niche's niche with no mass market successes currently.
Apple is mostly about bringing tech to the masses that is easy to use and has a wide appeal. Every so often they miss the mark and at the moment my view on AR is 'the jury is out and heading towards being hung'.
If there is a must-have use for the tech then that will change. Until then carry on with the hype. -
EU carriers want Apple's Private Relay blocked

Every demand has to start somewhere.
I see this as the carriers snooping on your internet activity is threatened by this. As they sell that data, they see a loss of revenue and want it banned. If that fails, they'll try increasing prices or throttling or something else.
The game of cat and mouse continues.

Canon ink cartridges become an unexpected chip shortage victim
ravnorodom said:It’s about time for printer companies to rethink their ink cartridge strategy. Now it bites them back on their butts. EPSON’s ink refillable printer starts to look good.
I've been using refillable ink systems on my Epson A3 printers for years. -
Class action lawsuit alleges Google pays Apple to stay out of the search engine market
viclauyyc said:Can someone tell me if apple, or any other company for that matter, counter sue the law firm/plaintiff if the lawsuit fail in court?
Because, I think Apple have enough of these BS lawsuit and it is time to sue back.Back to this article, even if Apple create its own search engine, someone, mostly EU, will sue for unfair advantage as Apple own the platform.
Vexatious litigation is a good way to get disbarred. IANAL etc. -
