It might be that the search warrant served on Mr Running Hair Dye, specifically excluded any hard drives that didn't belong to him. If those drives did belong to Hunter Biden then if they were seized then that could be grounds to invalidate the whole warrant.All speculation naturally. We don't know if there was a separate warrant served on Apple for the iCloud stuff.There is a lot more to come out in this case.

Browsers push back against Google's proposed FLoC ad system
Funny how dependent this and most other sites are on Google to work. ajax.googleapis, double-click etc etc. Isn't it time for sites to get rid of their slavish reliance on Google? We all know what they have become so why isn't anyone taking a stand? I've blocked 99% of google at my network firewall (both incoming and outgoing). Starve them of data until they start playing fair with our data. -
Coalition for App Fairness wants iOS app distribution to work like Windows
This bunch needs to be careful what they wish for. If they think that Microsoft would not like to control every app that people load on Windows then they need their heads examining. They are already testing the waters with a restricted version of W10. Who's not to say that this is the normal one in a couple of years eh?

Blogger successfully hacks Jaguar I-Pace electric car into HomeKit
Great bit of news. I'm sorely tempted to have a go at connecting up my I-Pace however I'm not sure what extra it would give me over the functionality of apps like 'MyPace' and the JLR In-Control app. Still kudos to the person who did this.
