    Paying for being allowed to play more would be a general mechanism that does not equal gambling in my book: Classic flipper machines and arcade machines are categories where this has always been the case.

    Change gambling to social media and you have a perfect description of something that is desiggned to be addictive.

    While I have no problem seeing that gambling Social Media such is a real problem - and is scientifically designed to exploit our weaknesses

    A sign of the times I guess

    Why? If you live/work where there is zero 5G coverage why waste battery trying to find a network when you don't need to?

    I'm not upgrading until at least this time next year. 5G in my area is scheduled for 2022/23 and with almost everyone travelling a lot less, there really is no need to rush into it.

    So? They will still work. I use an Apple iPhone 6 charger to charge a Samsung Tablet using a USB-A to USB-C cable.
    Yes they are slower but we managed for over a decade didn't we?

    ROFL.
    Of that top 10 Apple is the only one that I do business with (if at all). I refuse to use Google, Avoid Amazon and Walmart (ASDA here but not for much longer). I only visit YouTube 3 or 4 times a year. The rest are a no-no.

    Just another reason not to sign up to Netflix (or any other streaming service for that matter). I do have a T2 equipped Mac but like some others have said, I spend far too long in front of it each day (yes, writing novels is work) to want to watch stuff on it when I have a 50in Sony sitting idle. FreeSat (UK) gives me 100+ channels of free TV (no subscriptions) and there is plenty on my HDR to catch up on.
    This Grumpy will carry on refusing subscriptions as long as possible.
