  • A deep dive into HomePod's adaptive audio, beamforming and why it needs an A8 processor

The first few times I saw the term HP on this website I thought it meant the computer company. I recommend not using the term HP and use HomePod. Or if you must, use HPod.
Or, just use some common sense and understand context. ex: MP in context here usually means Mac Pro and not Military Police.
Or even older than either of them, 'Member of Parliament'.

  • 'Modern' iPad Pro with Face ID teased in Apple's iOS 11.3 code

I'm glad that I got a new iPad Pro for Christmas. TouchId is perfect.
I can unlock it with a stretched out arm while in bed. Just touch the right spot with the right finger. No need to look at it.

Sorry Apple, FaceID does not do it for me and I suspect that I'm not alone there.

I know you guys don’t think it’ll happen but I think it’s just a matter of time till Apple gets some glasses out there.
If the 'HomePod' debacle is anything to go by, they will be late, underpowered and stupidly overpriced.
Oh, and have the battery life akin to the lifespan of a mayfly.

  • MacBook refreshes push Apple to 4th in global notebook shipments

That being said...I really still haven't anyone tell me exactly why they really need 32GB of RAM? Do pros really do that much intense work on their Mac versus something like a higher end iMac or Mac Pro with a much larger screen?
Perhaps (and I speak from experience) a small business can't afford a decent MBP and an iMac or a Mac Pro?
When I was the MD of a SME, spending money on kit was only done when there was no other alternative. I preferred to pay my staff better. We all had fully loaded MBP's because we did a lot of work on the road. It was pay less and get more kit or not. The staff wanted MBP's and the iMac's etc were not essential to operating our business but sometimes we do struggle with RAM. Some of our datasets were pretty large.

  • Robbers smash into Apple's flagship UK store in lightning raid

Too bad the UK can’t arm their security guards like the U.S.  The robbery would be over quickly if they would have pulled out a hammer against them.
Except here the security guards would have been mowed down with an AR15's as soon as they showed up.
Assault rifles are banned in the U.K, correct?  Don’t know if you all or Y’all like we say down here comprehend what I stated earlier.  I said arm the security guardes or police and not the perpetrators.
Owning an Assault Rifle as a private owner is impossible here in the UK. Owning anything other than a .22 Air Rifle/Pistol and a Shotgun is very difficult.
You will see armed police on the streets of London. They are armed with something akin to assault rifles.
There is little risk of getting shot here. This wasn't the case in the past as the people of Dunblane and Hungerford will testify.
