Hey, 1990 called and wants it tokens back.

For those who are not old enough, back in the day there were two competing network types. Ethernet and Token-ring. The latter was pushed by IBM. The former (originally developed by Xerox, Intel and Dec) won out.

I had the Dell 27in display. I say had. The cat knocked it over and the screen got damaged. The insurance coughed up enough for me to get an Ilyama 27in 4K display.
I actually preferred the Dell. The U/I on the Ilyama is a POS. They aren't alone there though.

Sony do make some very good sensors. The ones they make for use in their and other companies DSLR's are very good.
They make the sensors for the nikon D800/D810 range. 36Mp. They are apparently also making the 45/46Mp sensors for the forthcoming D820/D850.
The ones they make for Nikon as as I understand it, like the ones that Apple uses, made to the specs of the client rather than being an off the shelf item.

The current US Administration seem incapable of any 'joined up thinking'.
I guess their Dear 'tweeter' Leader has set an example and like good little soldiers, they are following suit.

If this goes through, I fully expect a raft of court cases to follow. Given the snails pace at which the US legal system moves, I don't think it is inconceivable that Trump will no longer be President when it gets finally resolved.

I won't be going to the USA in the forseeable future.
