Chinese students sue Apple over not including chargers with iPhones
Apple still includes a plastic logo sticker in every box, changes the phone dimensions which prevents you from reusing a protective plastic case that could easily last 5-7 years, and includes a charging cable that can’t be used until you buy something it can plug into. I think their green intentions contain a mixed message. -

Almost nobody in the US used the Apple & Google COVID-19 apps
I think it comes down to trust, specifically the lack there of. Right or wrong, people don’t trust one, some, or all of:
- Local, state, or federal health authorities
- Same levels of government
- Tech companies
- Science
- Each other
In some cases, lack of trust is for good reason. In other cases it unfortunately is by one’s own ignorance, fear, greed, or selfishness.
A pandemic appears to be a decent measure of humanity’s willingness to work together to solve our common threats, nation by nation.
